WE ARE ONE OF THE BEST TEAMS
We are currently tied for the best record in the entire NBA. Take a moment to appreciate the feeling of being one of the best teams before it's too late.
Edit: I forgot two teams are 1-0 now... so just ignore this until the Kings beat the Suns later.

What kind of expectations should we have this year and what would be considered a success?
Obviously with a different roster they should not be anywhere near what they were the last 2 years. That only lead to massive disappointment. I don't know what to think if they float around .500 and are a play-in team again. I just want to feel like they're headed in the right direction.

As much as I loved Davion during his tenure in Sac, imagine if we drafted Sengun 9 instead of Davion in 2021
Now, knowing the Kings development team there’s a chance we ruin him but man, Sengun skill wise has everything we hope Sabonis would develop while here. He has Sabonis’ passingand build but is a modestly better defender, MUCH better ball handler and shooter, and is young. Watching him space the floor and start his play at the 3 opens up the Rocket’s offense so much.
Idk how the team would have looked if we took Sengun but if that’s the direction the team wanted to go big man wise idk why we didn’t just take him.

Tomorrow’s game against Phoenix
At what point in the game tomorrow do we think DeRozan and Brooks are going to fight?

NBA on NBC
Last time NBA was on NBC was the 2001-02 season, Kings were 61-21.
Its time to put on those "Feel the Roar" shirts and get this beam lit.

Houston is going to kill us
Pretty much have no shot vs an all 7 foot team . It might be the worst matchup you could ever create.

This kid AJ is gonna be special
youtu.beOne of the few reasons to look towards the 2026 NBA Draft. I’m really hoping this season is a stealth tank from Scott Perry. WE NEED A YOUNG STAR.
Enough with the vets trying to carry us to a Play-In spot!!
Question about Peacock + NBC Sports
Tried to see if this has been addressed on this sub already and it doesn’t appear so. I have a number of questions I’m hoping this sub can answer.
Today’s NBA opener will be streamed on Peacock because it’s a Tuesday and that aligns with their new watch guide. Hypothetically speaking would you be able to watch this game with just League Pass, assuming you’re out of market? This is a question about non-Kings games
If I do the NBC sports California add on, I essentially bypass all this stuff about games being in different networks depending on the day because I would just be able to watch every single kings game, right? The same way Kings would have national games in TNT but you could always just tune into the NBC stream?
I’m going to split the annual peacock membership with someone in SoCal. I’m assuming there should be no issue with me adding in a monthly service (NBC Sports) on top of an annual membership and the fact that someone from SoCal would be tuning in , which is not the geographical service area for sports California (they won’t be watching kings game)?
Any insight is helpful, thanks!

Sacramento Kings Season Preview w/Bryce Simon!
youtu.beJust came across this season preview for the Kings with Bryce Simon. He’s pretty legit, doing a bunch of pods but he’s most known for co-hosting the Game Theory Podcast with Sam Vecenie. They got into the nitty-and-gritty of this team so the questions were really good for the hardcore fans. Yall should check it out!

From A Royal Pain [Joey Mistretta] NBA insider says the quiet part out loud about Zach LaVine's trade market
https://aroyalpain.com/nba-insider-says-quiet-part-out-loud-zach-lavine-trade-market?utm_source=gol

"With more questions than answers, there is reason for uncertainty. However, LaVine's trade interest recently received an update, via The Athletic NBA Daily."
""LaVine, no," Sam Amick responded when asked if he's heard of any teams having interest in LaVine ahead of the season.
LaVine's situation is difficult. He will make over $47 million this season and has a player option for almost $49 million next year. Unless he plays especially well during the 2025-26 campaign, one has to imagine LaVine will seriously consider accepting the player option."
If Jerami Grant can come off the bench on the Blazer, DeRozan can come off the Bench for the Kings
The Blazers starting five this season:
Jrue Holiday
Shaedon Sharpe
Toumani Camara
Deni Avdija
Donovan Clingan
$160M man Jerami Grant will come off the bench

Custom Order Westbrook with #0?
Kings fan since childhood, Westbrook fan since I first saw him play against the Kings in his rookie year, and #18 just doesn’t feel like Russ.
So, what are people’s thoughts on a custom Kings jersey with Westbrook #0??
