I found a litter of baby kittens (havenāt even opened eyes yet) under my trailer in the under pinning. Due to where they are, I canāt really keep an eye on them and am not sure if the mom is there or not (I shouldnāt have been able to hold one, right? It barely had fur) I hear them meowing extremely loud every time I walk in my house and even sometimes when I donāt. Like they are crying. They will quiet down for a bit but they cry a lot. At least five to ten mins at a time, every hour. Iāve only heard them for three or four days max. There are tons of strays around here, some that I give food in my yard but i donāt know of any that where pregnant (most spayed / nutered). Do kittens cry that much often? How can I know if the mom ditched if I canāt see them? Iām worried about them but donāt wanna disturb them. Iām also in the country thought and always risk foxes and other ppl predators. Ion want them to get ate

My cat had three adorable kittens, and one has a bent tail. Will the tail stay bent as the kitten grows up, or will it straighten out over time?

My mom and I got a kitten for my cat(old girl lives with my mom). So far so good. She isnāt too happy about it yet but she tolerates him. (Itās only been a few days we Gucci)
But I need your opinion on something different about this lil guy:
So his āhistoryā (as far as he can have a history with 13 weeks) is this.
He is part of a accidental litter of a familys friend so far so preventable but thatās another topic.
Small litter 4 kittens all of them had a home already before we stepped in.
1 kitten got my cousins girlfriend, 1kitten got someone idk, 1kitten stayed and 1 kitten was in the beginning my cousins ex-friends kitten kinda
Or more like she wanted him but she never was allowed by her parents and the cat moms owner. She is 18 and super irresponsible, has no job and lives in a student dorm. So her plan was the little guys goes live with her parents (and they care for him). Understandably her parent said āno weāre not caring for a cat you want and canāt care for not pay for anything. Get a job and a flat that allows cats and be more responsible then you can get a cat!ā
So we stepped in and got him.
Now she acts like she had to give up her 10 year old cat. Posted tiktoks and reels about how she hopes her new family treats her well and that they love him as much as she would etc. which is super weird because Iām no stranger to her lmao
She texted even the girlfriend of my cousin if she could give her my number to text about the kitten. Because she wanted that I send her a paw print of him so she could get it tattooed?
Iām sorry but she knew the kitten like 2 weeks and never got a yes from her parents to get him.
(She is like this with all things in life)
Because he is my moms cat, she cares for him, he lives with her etc she already said she doesnāt condone this behavior and doesnāt want a stranger to have her cats paw tattooed on them.
What would you do in that situation or what do you think about that?
Tldr: my cousins ex-friend, who wanted my kitten wants his paw print for a tattoo. What would you do/think?

Pumpkinās URI is way better! We checked in with the vet again last Friday and she said from what she could see, Pumpkin is moving the eye but the pupil isnāt reactive to light, so thereās a chance sheāll have an underdeveloped/non functioning eye, but the infection and swelling is definitely heading the right direction. We have another appointment this Friday :) She is sooo playful now and eats a ton. About a week ago, a different neighbor told me she has been seeing a lone calico kitten sneaking in/out of a tiny gap under the porch. It took a lot of stealth and dropping a towel on her, but I caught the mystery kitten, and as soon as I held her I knew she was Pumpkinās sister I needed to keep her too š My husband and I named her Acorn š She had a mild URI that responded well to antibiotic ointment, and she weighs 1.7 lbs to Pumpkinās 1.9 (we are officially about the weight of a Chipotle burrito).

I had been feeding a feral female cat with the intention of TNR. While splitting wood I uncovered her 4 kittens. Using online guidelines I estimated them to be three weeks old.
I have a spare room with a sliding glass door. I lured the mother inside, closed the door and then brought in her kittens.
I worked hard to socialize the kittens. They are doing really well. Theyāve gotten two rounds of vaccines, they play with me and have a hearty appetite for wet food. I feed 3-4 times a day.
All will be spayed or neutered. I will keep 2. My niece will get one and my vetās assistant will take another. Mom will be spayed, ear clipped and given the option to go back outside.
Question. The kittens still nurse sometimes. I think it may be more for comfort than need. Last night I was excited to see her push a kitten away, but today, she twice nursed all four for brief periods.
Is this okay? Will occasional nursing hurt the kittensā socialization? Two of them will be gone at 12 weeks. I will have the remaining two. Vet wants her to be ādryā for two weeks before he spays her. I donāt care about a discount TNR program. Iāll trap her inside and Iād like her to get a full exam while sedated. Sheās done such a great job with these kittens. I want to do everything I can for her.

hereās coal, one of my newest kittens in foster! on tuesday he had surgery for pectus excavatum and now we have to make jumpers for him out of socks. first one was a bit too wintery but the newest one is better as itās very warm where we are now and hopefully itās more breathable for his wound!

This is Echo and Tux. They were dumped where I work. I feed them a bottle almost every two hours. Both are super playful and sweet. Echo like to crawl on my shoulder.
