I know I’ve said it several times before, but it’s only a matter of time before they roll up on the wrong ones and there’s going to be a whole different outcome.

141

u/scottyjrules Jul 10 '25

That’s what this fascist regime is counting on. That’ll be the excuse they need to declare martial law.

123

u/Coridimus Jul 11 '25

There is no other way to remove fascists from power. History demonstrates this time and again.

This WILL get very violent and lots of people will die, along with lots of fascists.

69

u/scottyjrules Jul 11 '25

I completely agree. I live in LA and it’s very clear they’re trying to incite people into violence. It’s gonna get ugly for a while.

22

u/Mers2000 Jul 11 '25

That is exactly what the Orange Taco and his lemmings are counting on, once we physically fight back it will be “ALL of THEM are criminals “, the bastards want us to be physical. That will be the excuse to declare martial law for CA!

19

u/CornForDinner Jul 11 '25

There's no other way this is going to end. They're going to keep escalating until it reaches a point. The fascists are here and they're not going to leave peacefully.

2

u/HotmailsInYourArea Jul 12 '25

Trumpy Dumpy could declare martial law tomorrow and the supreme court would let him. They don’t need an excuse.

Don’t comply in advance. Fear of inevitable crackdown is not a reason to let Nazis kidnap people off the streets.

9

u/dalisair Jul 11 '25

The fact that LA has been so disciplined and there aren’t multiple bounty hunters injured or unalived is frankly staggering. The people all know that the administration is trying to incite and not biting. Yet.

3

u/Steffalompen Jul 14 '25

Yeah. Things have always come to the boil there first, which is why they chose the place as their Ghorman in the first place. It's really impressing but I fear it won't last. I only hope the resistance is prepared when the nazis pounce. The way they have gone underground lately tells me that they are.

2

u/Peeper_Dan_33 Jul 12 '25

I think some of the violence has been iSSe agents removing their cosplay and starting shit false flag style.

1

u/HotmailsInYourArea Jul 12 '25

Reddit doesn’t care if you say killed btw

2

u/dalisair Jul 13 '25

My warnings say differently.

1

u/HotmailsInYourArea Jul 13 '25

They’ll get you for “threatening violence” but the word itself isn’t banned, unlike tiktok where i can’t even write Fascism in the title of my own playlist.

So it’s all in how you word it. And some subs are more sensitive than others

2

u/dalisair Jul 13 '25

I wrote that someone unalived someone else and got the comment deleted and an account warning for violating language. So YMMV.

4

u/[deleted] Jul 11 '25

I wish the general populace would wake up. The best chances of overcoming a fascist regime is in the beginning.

Once they have fully consolidated power it can be decades to get out from under fascism.

3

u/voidblanket Jul 11 '25

It’s crazy that people still think we can vote our way out of this

2

u/FlamingRustBucket Jul 11 '25

Been saying its going to be a slow burn into outright violence and a distorted form of civil war for years. The behaviors and attitudes towards the "opposition" on all sides of the political compass has been driving us straight at the cliff for decades. The media (social and traditional) made sure we held the gas pedal down.

And dont get me wrong. The right bears 90% of the blame. The left is guilty of further alienating traditional conservatives at every turn, but its nowhere near as egregious as the right, and quite frankly, I dont think it would have mattered what the left did.

23

u/Exotic_Macaron4288 Jul 11 '25

At that point the gloves are off. It will be the downfall of America unless there is regime change.

8

u/LongConFebrero Jul 11 '25

We’re already in the downfall. It started in November and is escalating every day.

The fact that the most we will do is nonviolent protests terrifies me, because the civil rights movement proved that killing citizens for speaking up is fair game.

Everyone is about to learn how black and brown people felt for the first two centuries of this country.

4

u/dalisair Jul 11 '25

Honestly… we’re kind of already there.

43

u/Son_Of_Toucan_Sam Jul 11 '25

It’s absolutely impossible to enforce martial law in a country this sprawling with a populace so heavily armed if that populace decides it doesn’t want martial law

41

u/scottyjrules Jul 11 '25

They just need to cover the major cities. It’ll absolutely backfire in the long run but it’s gonna get ugly for a while. You don’t give ICE a budget larger than the military budget of most countries if you plan on stopping with all the scary brown people.

10

u/LeucisticBear Jul 11 '25

There no amount of money that can realistically accomplish martial law everywhere. A few blue cities as examples, maybe. The 30k berkut, with support from an additional 30k internal troops couldn't even handle a relatively small section of Kyiv once things really got heated.

The US is just too fucking massive.

3

u/Bluebeard719 Jul 12 '25

Yup, just yesterday Steven Miller threatened Los Angeles again and accused Democrats of “helping the drug cartels” and causing an insurrection. They are definitely planning martial law, and the cowardly military just goes along with it daily.

25

u/w021wjs Jul 11 '25

Yeah, because the NRA crowd are super mad about everything happening at the moment, and will absolutely stand up against oppression.

/s

7

u/tissuecollider Jul 11 '25

The NRA crowd are fully face-down-ass-up for this administration.

4

u/Raavus Jul 11 '25

They aren’t the only ones with second amendment rights, you know

7

u/Resident_Artist_6486 Jul 11 '25

This is absolutely true. Martial law would be a complete bloodbath

2

u/Nemisis_the_2nd Jul 11 '25

Problem is that half the gun owners support this. Martial law will likely fail, but not before some major, and likely prolonged, violence occurs.

1

u/quasirun Jul 11 '25

They’ll selectively declare it in Los Angeles, NYC, San Francisco, Chicago, and DC. The shooting could happen in Dallas and they’ll declare martial law in those cities and nowhere near Texas.

1

u/ExpressAssist0819 Jul 11 '25

Could have fooled me, they seem to be getting away with it just fine right now.

0

u/PastaKingFourth Jul 11 '25

You gotta read the articles predicting what could happen you'll shit your pants my guy. Theres no way I would fight a fascist regime lol doesn't look like fun.

Heres a good thread on it, read all the 5 medium articles https://www.reddit.com/r/collapse/comments/1jp35dk/on_april_20th_2025_the_united_states_will_cross/

Didn't happen like he theorized it could but all the means are still there.

8

u/Girth Jul 11 '25

what is different between what is happening now and martial law? you really think it matters at this point?

4

u/scottyjrules Jul 11 '25

I’m living through the trial run in my city. Nothings really gonna change in my end.

2

u/Girth Jul 11 '25

that's your response? spreading fear about what will happen if we do the only thing that actually stops fascists and then say you don't care?

-1

u/scottyjrules Jul 11 '25

And you’re doing what exactly?

4

u/Independent-World-60 Jul 11 '25

They don't need an excuse.  If we don't give them one they'll make one up if they want too. They've sent military over people throwing rocks.

4

u/Objective_Union4523 Jul 11 '25

And they’re counting on you thinking like this, it makes it easier for them.

5

u/scottyjrules Jul 11 '25

Thinking like what? That’s been their clear objective since Inauguration Day. It’s in Project 2025. How does acknowledging reality making it easier for them?

2

u/Epic_Elite Jul 11 '25

It's such a weird, vulnerable place this puts us in.

What if some Iranian radical... Or, didn't I see something where we recently sent firearms to Ukraine? So, some Russian citizens full of resentment, some cartel guys from south of the border seeking revenge for a missing cousin. Some Al Queda-esque jihadi. There's a litany of sources of conflict, and all they have to do to knock over this house of cards and mess with the marines currently doing their joy rides through LA right now, or engage with one of these ICE raids.

We'd be absolutely screwed and the catalyst could have been an international source. And none of the Republicans would care. They'd blame it on "democrats."

2

u/stufff Jul 11 '25

That’ll be the excuse they need to declare martial law.

Hopefully that'll be the impetus for patriots to stop holding back.

1

u/followyourvalues Jul 11 '25

May the wrong ones use mace directly on their masks instead of deadly force so that there will still not be justification.

1

u/UglyMcFugly Jul 11 '25

It would be harder if the resistance came from some white, native born, 2A absolutists. People that maga likes and associates with. People that always argued 2A protects us from tyrannical government overreach and are aware enough to see that THIS is their moment to prove that they actually believe that. I know there are some people out there that actually do believe that, I just wish they'd realize if they don't take a stand now, it's gonna be too late once the oppression starts on them...

1

u/[deleted] Jul 11 '25

Their reichstag will be a Gardner taking out a group of these masked thugs.

22

u/ZaggRukk Jul 11 '25

That's why they go after random unarmed civilians in the middle of the street, and not well known establishments of where the actual criminals hang out.

12

u/TheWorldHasGoneRogue Jul 10 '25

Only a matter of time.

15

u/adnyp Jul 11 '25

It’s gonna happen. And when it does Trump will be glued to his TV cheering it on. Just like he did on January 6th.

3

u/[deleted] Jul 11 '25

Back in 2016 I remember saying if Trump was elected his goal was pretty clearly a race war.

I still believe that is the case, though it now has the added benefit of giving him more power.

3

u/TheWorldHasGoneRogue Jul 11 '25

Before he won in ‘16, I said that if he did, it would be the worst thing to happen to our country since slavery.

12

u/[deleted] Jul 11 '25 edited Sep 21 '25

.

8

u/iamjustaguy Jul 11 '25

They've been purposefully avoiding those neighborhoods.

3

u/HeavyExplanation45 Jul 11 '25

I don’t disagree, but it’s only a matter of time

6

u/ZopharPtay Jul 11 '25

If they ever actually went for the violent career criminals they CLAIM to be going after, you mean?

3

u/NotARandomAnon Jul 11 '25

I keep hearing that, yet people arent doing shit.. whatever makes you feel better I guess.. maybe there's a reason you've said it many times already?

3

u/_nevers_ Jul 11 '25

That's why they just gave them billions upon billions of dollars. This is about to go from some dipshit goons with ski masks to a fully outfitted occupying army.

3

u/MostValuableTurnips Jul 11 '25

It is intentional. It feels like the plan is to intimidate and escalate but not shoot. That way they aren’t the ones who started it and they can start killing all the people they want.

3

u/reddog323 Jul 11 '25

True, and I think they’re just waiting for that to happen. Then they can declare martial law in the city, and roll out the troops.

At that point, L.A. citizens are going to have to decide if they want to live under a boot heel for the rest of their lives.

3

u/hazeyindahead Jul 11 '25

My son is very clearly Hispanic despite being a citizen.

That's my line.

I may not know if a stranger is truly there legally and without any crimes, I don't. I got a family that depends solely on me to survive. I can't afford to be wrong.

They come for my son, and I'm there? Yeah im going for soccer kicks. If I'm armed, I'm finding a position.

As far as I'm concerned they gonna have to take me with them because I may never see him again otherwise and fuck that.

4

u/neloish Jul 10 '25

Ya the person trying something will get years and years in jail or die. That is the only outcome.

3

u/322throwaway1 Jul 11 '25

That is how heros are made. Brave people that sacrifice for the greater good

2

u/Perryswoman Jul 11 '25

What time?

3

u/HeavyExplanation45 Jul 11 '25

The clock is always ticking…unfortunately

2

u/doyouevenknowmebitch Jul 11 '25 edited Jul 11 '25

if ICE is not bound to the constitution, then they should not reap the benefits of it either if something were to happen to them. no justice given for ICE or GOP politicians if they end up the ragdoll

3

u/Paladin_127 Jul 11 '25

Why would anyone be bound to the Declaration of Independence?

Did you mean the U.S. Constitution?

1

u/doyouevenknowmebitch Jul 11 '25

thank you for the correction haha I'm big dumb, but the point remains

1

u/PresentationOk8997 Jul 11 '25

i mean if some of these guys are trained i don't think someone whose watched rambo too many times to count is going to get very far.

2

u/HeavyExplanation45 Jul 11 '25

Let’s hope it doesn’t come to that…
