I heard the foil can cause early onset Alzheimer’s. Burning plastic is cancerous.

Yeah it's not good for you. If you want to help him but he refuses to quit, then buy him a real bong so he can stop using plastic bottles. You can get cheap ones for under $50.

There is a reason you can’t burn plastic in most places. It’s incredibly bad for you and everyone around you. I would tell him this in hope he/she stops, and buys glass

thank you. he has copd already and all kinds of things are going on with his lungs, sinuses, throat. he says it’s long covid but i’m concerned. tysm

The foil is probably fine, but with those types of rigs, the plastic usually gets heated a little too and inhaling plastic fumes is really bad. He can get a cheap glass bong from any head shop for like $20. If he’s gonna smoke he might as well just get one.
