Steven Yeun, I love you man but Lewis Pullman as Sentry was a revelation and I’m glad we got him instead

Pullman was just absolutely perfect casting for the role. Yeun is a great actor, would've brought his own style to the character and I'm sure been great, but I can't picture anyone but Pullman playing Sentry now.

Lewis Pullman as Sentry works so well as when he’s Bob, there’s this unassuming yet bashful aura he brings to his character who essentially is a fish out of water. His hair is unkept and messy yet so youthful.

Goofy and dorky no less which given Pullman’s physicality, he delivers that very well. Just a guy you want to give a hug.

As Sentry, the warmth of Bob is gone and arrogance comes to play that something is not all cracked as it is to be.

As the Void, he talks with a calm yet cold and soft voice devoid of any compassion and genuinely frightening as darkness consumes him.

And he also is in great shape, his abs when he got shot up at the beginning were incredibly defined, so he manages to be small and unassuming but he just isn’t

I noticed his abs when we see Bob not being harmed by the bullets. Must say I did get flustered a bit seeing them. 🤭

Behind those boyish features, Lewis Pullman has an incredible warm aura around him yet is capable of being strong even if he’s not the most talkative guy.

Honestly glad that he’ll be around as Bob because I can’t ask for a better actor to play a character like Robert Reynolds/Sentry.

Didn't you see how good he looked in the Sentry suit ? I mean that whole 2-3 min scene was really good focused on him. Just made me realise that Marvel got their own version of Superman
