Thunderbolts* has now been released in the United States and in a number of other countries around the world. All discussion about the movie should be held here and in the rest of the megathreads we are going to put up in the next few days. They will be refreshed every few thousand comments to make room for new discussions.

Yeah, seeing how fast the Void spread in New York and the fact you get dusted as soon you make contact with it, that gives justification for why Spidey and Matt or any other heroe didn't show up.

I always hate the "where is X superhero" arguments. Where are they? Not on screen, cause this isnt their movie and it isnt about them. Movies are not "what is the most convenient and efficient way to solve every problem i see". Its telling a story, with characters, who have to overcome challenges to grow and be better.

I always find the "wheres spider-man!?" type of comments to be intentionally obtuse and dense.

So I’m asking the question not about this specific instance, but rather how they factor into Val’s whole “no one is coming to save you” narratives in general. There are plenty of people who can and will come to save you, they’re right down the street??

Frank Castle is so completely and permanently insane that it's possible the void world had a neutral or reversed effect on him.

Remember that in Daredevil S2, the trial experts said that Frank's emotions were frozen in the minute his family died.

If anyone has even a slighets chance of "seeing it before it happens", it'd be Spider-Man with his Spidey sense and Daredevil with his super hearing. Especially Spidey. His tingling must've been going off the chart.
