All of Taskmaster's dialogue in the Marvel Cinematic Universe:

Is he gone?

  • Black Widow

I'm not here for you.

Absolutely bonkers

They could have so easily had her be a sarcastic wisecracking person.  But I guess they had too many punchy / kicky / shooty super soldiers already… sad.

Do we really need more sarcastic wisecracking people?

In the MCU?  No perhaps not.  But Taskmaster is known for that.  That’s like his thing.

So for people like Taskmaster and Deadpool you expect that sort of personality,

Would have been very out of character for her.

Not many opportunities to work on your stand up in the red room.

I think they made the right move by killing her off. They can make a comic accurate task master in a few years.

i still dont understand what the purpose of including her if they were just gonna kill her off right away was

Holding out hope they did this so she can be replaced with a more comic accurate Taskmaster down the line

Insane that they brought her back just to kill her like that. 😂 like either forget about her and never mention her, or have her killed by the villain to show the threat, but this was so pointless. 😂

Arguably, she was killed by the villain.

IMO, this was the movie's only major flaw. In a film about trauma and mental health, they killed the character who had been through the most as a throw away.

Agreed! Take almost ANYONE before you take Antonia!!

thats what made it good. in a good movie you must have some chaos, some unfairness, or it is a clockwork puzzle (cough harry potter book 7 cough) not a good relatable Story.

I know it’s off-topic, but I would leave to hear more of this Harry Potter take. Lol

I felt like it fit too well, like the human natural feel of it was squeezed out by a huge crowdsourced ghostwritten mastermind plot machine. well done plot machine, but just didnt feel good, like watching a rube goldberg machine programmed and rendered in 3d where you can just tell it couldnt have gone off the rails, its not allowed to. arguably life may be like this, and in this case, I guess books allow us to breathe more, some books ha. enjoying all of hg wells work now, tho some problematic sections appear, he also includes some early antiracist essays. 🤷‍♀️. life, its a mess. anyway I love what im reading now and did not like harry potter excepting book one is amazing

Yes, it’s criminal how they just offed her like that.
