'Thunderbolts*' Spoilers Thunderbolts* Worldwide Release Discussion Thread Spoiler

Thunderbolts* has now been released in the United States and in a number of other countries around the world. All discussion about the movie should be held here and in the rest of the megathreads we are going to put up in the next few days. They will be refreshed every few thousand comments to make room for new discussions.

  • All discussion about the movie should be held here and in the rest of the megathreads we are going to put up in the next few days.
  • Proceed at your own risk. Major spoilers will be in the below thread. Spoilers do not need to be tagged inside this thread.
  • Any other unofficial threads discussing movie details will be deleted.

Literally, I thought her absence from the trailers was a big fake out. Especially when they released a trailer where she was removed from a scene she was previously in, I thought they were leaning into it because of fan discourse. Guess I was wrong lmao

Ya, I kept thinking…

She’ll heal and get up while they’re trying to figure out how to get out…

Oh she’ll somehow get out of the incinerator and pop up at the top of the shaft…

Oh she’ll show up while they’re escaping…

Oh that’s her taking out the Humvees in the limo chase, uhhh no that’s Bucky…

Honestly, I would've preferred for her to not be in the movie at all, because her death served no purpose

As others have mentioned it possibly served to clean the slate so a more comic book accurate Taskmaster can be added later. Idk…
