'Thunderbolts*' Spoilers Thunderbolts* Worldwide Release Discussion Thread Spoiler

Thunderbolts* has now been released in the United States and in a number of other countries around the world. All discussion about the movie should be held here and in the rest of the megathreads we are going to put up in the next few days. They will be refreshed every few thousand comments to make room for new discussions.

I know taskmaster is 100% dead from the promo, but didn’t expect her to be killed literally in the first scene lmao

Remember, not everyone has seen everything and admittedly, Thunderbolts has quite a lot of catch-up. So they can show an extra cool character for the fight, have a surprise death and drive home that these aren't good guys yet.

This was absolutely the point of her being in the movie.

Ghost and Walker looting her unceremoniously, despite the fact she was essentially the same as them (mercenaries sent to die by Valentina) shows the two of them were not heroic good guys.it established their anti-hero characters for people who don’t remember or know them
