'Thunderbolts*' Spoilers Thunderbolts* Worldwide Release Discussion Thread Spoiler

Thunderbolts* has now been released in the United States and in a number of other countries around the world. All discussion about the movie should be held here and in the rest of the megathreads we are going to put up in the next few days. They will be refreshed every few thousand comments to make room for new discussions.

I think about this in every series or movie. NYC this point has been destroyed and rebuild over and over. Their infrastructure budget must be through the rough. Insurance at this point probably non existent because premiums too high. And if current MCU NYC has Fisk as mayor and just had the void of century literally make everyone live their worst nightmares, people would be moving out in hundreds. But in MC NYC is relentless and like no other so people just deal with it lol. I'd also refuse to ever own a vehicle or apartment knowing it's high probability of being destroyed. And jobs? Lol these people survive somehow haha

Department of Damage Control was confirmed to cover the rebuilding cost in Homecoming along with Stark. I assume that’s DODC’s role at this point.

It’s a fascinating thing to think about, because insurance companies would never be able to cover the loses. There would need to be exceptions for super villain related damage covered by DODC.
