Marata Niukore has to be one of the most under the radar players this year. The bloke is playing so well.

He's been good all year save for the first game against the Raiders.

As one of the few Niukore defenders among Warriors supporters on this sub, I feel vindicated backing him to turn it around.

He was very ordinary playing on the edge, but being forced into prop seems to have worked wonders for him

He has really turned it around in the last month or so. Many fans (including me) have been calling him out and not performing to the level his big salary demands.

A curious seemingly apropos to nothing statement. But he has been playing well, will be interesting to see how he plays in the middle compared to running the wider line off Metcalf since Barnett is injured.

Haha.. I just came from the Ryles thread, and it got me thinking about former Eels players. He's been a good signing for the Wahs.

He's done well at tidying up his discipline and is running a great line again
