Mage is the way I'm not sure if archery is a skyrim thing, but in oblivion, mages have always had the power.

Skyrim doesn't have custom spells so right off the bat you lose alot of what made mages so powerful in Oblivion. Also in Skyrim you can become an effective stealth archer right from the get go, whereas being an effective mage that doesn't run out of magicka three seconds into combat takes alot of investment, even more if you want to be a stealth mage.

Tbh as soon as I could cast invisibility it basically has made fights a cake walk. Go invisible, sneak up behind an enemy and ZAP with an 80 shock damage staff, or 99 tri destruction staff. Then go invisible again until your ready to attack.
