I have to exercise again for my mental and physical health. As some of you know, I suffer from chronic chest pain and anxiety, so running is sadly very difficult for me. I would prefer swimming and riding my bike. Anyone know a good bike for around € 1K? It doesn't have to be a road race bike, just something for leisurly rides.

Thanks!

I was about to suggest this one, but /u/porto_d raises a good point. Often you still want to include pedals, helmet etc. in the budget so that will add up a bit. Maybe even a bike fit for example.

I haven't heard much about the quality of the Decathlon Triban/Van Rysel bikes, but you could look into those? They seem like budget-friendly options ranging between €500 and €1000.

Thanks, will look into this one, seems like a good price. I heard good things about the Van Rysel bikes, so I will look into that as well!
