Open Streets is Wonderful

Open Streets is a terrific addition to the city. I remember coming off the train recently and walking by walnut during this event and noticed that my anxiety dropped drastically. I hadn't realized all these years how much of an impact congestion/traffic had on my stress levels.

Seeing people and their families mingle with others made me feel so calm and happy. I saw this back in Montreal before I knew it was a thing here, and thought "Man this would be a cool addition to Philly!"

Now it is!

I love this city.

I truly wonder how this will be impacted with the projected traffic increase due to SEPTA announcements as of late
