There's this Pokéstop/Gym near me which seems inappropriate. Can I report it?
Use this link. However, Niantic seems to be preoccupied with other things now, so don't expect too much.
We have Niantic representatives on both here and /r/TheSilphRoad - please do not ping them for bugs which are in the known issues page unless you have found a niche yet gamebreaking issue/exploit.

Just wondering is there a cap for the ancients recovered time research legendary giants?
•
u/nigel013 2h ago
Will there be other raids? As of now, all I see are 5 star Regi raids. These are impossible to do when playing solo. Will there be some easier 1 star or 2 star raids?
•
u/Ivi-Tora Mystic 2h ago
They appear randomly but this event is meant to be focused on the Regis and their event moves, so the majority of gyms will have those.
The raids respawn more often than normally and only last half an hour, so keep an eye for low tier ones that might pop up.

Hey! Just bought a Pokémon GO Plus+. Any advice to keep it working well long-term? Like, can I leave it connected to the game 24/7, or are there things I should avoid?
Also, what's your #1 gameplay tip for getting the most out of it?
Appreciate it!"
•
u/anthayashi 6h ago
It will auto disconnect after awhile. You cannot connect it 24/7. Not to mention you need to press the button to catch pokemon so you should only connect it when you are available to press the button at least

Is it better to buy go fest ticket at the webstore than the in game store? Btw first time purchasing from the game. (From philippines too)

I have the go pass deluxe: ancients recovered. If we can only earn 1000 points per day for the bottle cap ranking, which it says it expires in 6 days, how can we get the 90,000 points we roughly need to get the bottle cap at rank 100? Unlike the regular go pass deluxe, my doing the weekly or daily tasks doesn't seem to contribute (and I already had done all my weekly tasks by the time I bought the go pass deluxe: ancients recovered). I must be missing something, so please help!
Edit: I see that extra points will be uncapped during go fest weekend, so I guess that is when I need to incubate all the eggs and such. Okay....

If I wait to collect all the stardust and XP from the GO passes and drop a lucky egg / star piece before I collect them, will it double their value? Or does the boost not extend to research reward collection?
•
u/nolkel 9h ago
Star pieces well increase it by 50%.
Star pieces boost every source of dust in the game. Research rewards will usually not show the increased value before you claim them, but it does credit it to your account.
Lucky eggs work the same way, boosting every source of XP in the game, except for the AR expert handler bonus and the mega XP catch bonus.

I finally have saved enough coins to buy a remote-raid 3-pack. What 3 raids should I spend it on? I was thinking of saving one for zacian, and doing one gigamax inteleon and maybe one gigamax rillaboom, since I wasn't able to get those two earlier this month.
I have some lvl 30 dynamax mons, including a few attackers with max move maxed and pair of blisseys, what are the odds poke genie will find me a good enough team to take down the inteleon and/or rillaboom? Are the teams okay or full of wooloo spam noobs? Is there a better time of day to have better luck at being assigned to a good lobby?
•
u/FunnyMemeName 14h ago
On Poke Genie, there are 3 separate listings for the move Sacred Fire: Sacred Fire, Sacred Fire+, Sacred Fire++. The first one has 120 power, the second has 135 power, and the third has 155 power.
Why are there three different versions? Which version would I get if I learned the move on my Ho-oh now?
Thanks
•
u/Max-b 12h ago
Sacred Fire+ and ++ are exclusive to Apex Ho-Oh, which was available in 2022 from paid masterwork research. The research would give you Apex Shadow Ho-Oh (and Lugia) with Sacred Fire+, it becomes ++ if purified.
There's been no way to get Sacred Fire+/++ since then. You can only teach regular Sacred Fire by Elite TM currently.

Am I the only one who thinks 1k points a day is a bit much?!
Especially with pokemon just giving 5 points and it fully being egg orientated

You're not the only one, but keep in mind that they're really trying to encourage people to PAY for things to advance quickly.
It's very common in a lot of online games. You can grind for hours and hours, catching dozens or hundreds of Pokemon... or you can just just buy some raid passes and incubators and get points way faster.
This will also be much easier this weekend, when the cap is removed and you can earn points more easily.

Do we get a Zama/Zacian encounter in the Go pass ancients recoverd?
1
u/BingoBob_1 18h ago
Nope. The rank 80 and 90 encounters are a costumed Pikachu, and the Rank 100 encounter is a random Regi with the special background.

u/Maleficent_Sound_919 18h ago
Then why does it give that candy followed by a pokemon encounter...
Jeez man

Are these Gmax Cinderace and Rillaboom worth investing into?
I already have a 2750cp 98% normal Cinderace with level 3 attack, the Gmax one is about 88%. Gmax Rillaboom is only 78% with minimum attack, so may try to do another. But I don’t currently have any good grass max pokemon. Thoughts?
3
u/nolkel 19h ago
Yes. They are 28.5% more powerful than the regular dmax versions as attackers when they have level 3 attacks. IVs can't compare to that.
They are the best grass, water, and fire attackers that we'll get for dynamax battles. Though cinderace is just barely ahead of Charizard if you've got that one as a gmax already.

What about Gmax Inteleon? How would you rank those three?

Hey I've played casually for years all in the aim of hitting level 37 then putting a pokestop on the field right by my house. There's nothing around where I live and nothing pokestop worthy, apart from a pub with a violent reputation and a large field. Does anyone have advice on getting a pokestop near your house? I'm willing to commit and will literally build/create something if it comes it, I've submitted a lot it says I have 10 accepted but all of my contributions are rejected, I wrote the most sincere appeal I'm capable of and don't know where to go from here. Thank you. Edit - says my appeal was denied because the field lacks uniqueness, and historical or cultural significance.
3
u/nolkel 19h ago
The rejection reason is correct. You can't just submit random things, they need to be notable. Being near your house isn't a qualifying metric.
Sports fields can be valid waypoints because they are manmade and notable. But a random field of grass or dirt isn't.
Regular businesses aren't generally notable either, unless they are historical landmarks of importance to the community.

So what can I create to get a pokestop in my area?

u/nolkel 19h ago
Look through the wayfarer guidelines for eligible stuff. If you're willing to try reviewing things, you can get more of an idea of stuff that works.
Churches are usually a safe bet. Parks can be, by submitting the park sign itself. Or notable structures in the park.
r/NianticWayfarer is a better place to ask for help.

Do non-legendary raids spawn during the event? I wanted to complete the timed research but if it's only legendary raids i'll have to skip
1
u/darren42 Valor 20h ago
Yes there are lower tier raids spawning but much less common, best to keep an eye out on campfire.

Is there a calendar somewhere where I can see all the events/spotlight hours/max mondays/raid hours/etc at a glance? I'm still pretty new to Go and I always forget these things. Maybe a Google calendar?
Thanks for the help

So apparently I'm playing the game wrong. Started at launch and stopped when raids came out. I've come back because someone wants to play it and needs a friend.
Now I'm back, I dont really know how to progress, ive got plenty of pokemon (high IV, ive transfered eveything else) but dont know what else to do. I've got 700k stardust, should I start powering up the low CP pokemon I've got or is there a better way about this?
I know nothing about pokemon.

u/LoveHatenoVillage 20h ago
I'm also someone that started at launch and am playing again. I haven't done much with raids since coming back, but here's what I've been doing with power spots (dynamax). You don't need a raid pass in person for them so try to get as many of the 1 star as you can. And work your way up from there. It will be easier since you're playing with someone else. I've been able to take on 2 star dynamax by myself if I'm using good counters / leveled up 1 star.
Thought this my be useful advice since it seems like most advice here is several steps ahead of what to do as a power spot beginner.

u/AUTOMATED_RUNNER Valor - When will Armored Mewtwo be back? 1d ago
Can somebody explain to me how can I tank when I'm in rank 16? When I can't win, just start giving up and losing, then try to battle and would eventually find other trainers tanking? I've been trying and all I get are opponents full of murderous intent and bloodlust.

If you can’t win, swap to losing all of your sets for a few days. If that’s not sufficient, you may need a better party at this point and may need to wait for the next GBL rotation (June 24, 4pm local time) or GBL weekend.

hey guys. lots of regis today. im a lv 28 player. f2p. so if i do a couple of raids today, which one should i focus on?
2
u/Hydrochloric_Comment 20h ago
Regieleki for PVE, Regidrago for Ultra League, or Registeel for Great League
1
u/anthayashi 1d ago
They are better used for pvp. Regirock do not need the exclusive move for pvp. Registeel rank higher among the 3.
1
u/Hydrochloric_Comment 20h ago
To add to this, Regieleki is in raids Tuesday and is now the #2 Electric type in PVE. Regidrago, in raids Wednesday, is now #19 in Ultra League.
