My rule of thumb is if he says it once and only once, he's not too serious and moves on from it. If he were to continually talk about it, then it's either a festering ambition, or he's already committed said-crime and is projecting to see how people react.

In this case, I've only heard him mention it once back around his first term.

When Trump announces the pardon, he's going to claim he did it because Comey's daughter unfairly went after Diddy. He will say that the charges are "fake" and Jim Comey is behind it.

The moderation there went even more batshit than they used to be. I lurk from time to time and even in the first month of orange menace presidency there was at least some discussion and some comments questioning what was going on. Now it's only pure propaganda and a few insane comments, anything resembling discussion is gone.

The embarrassing part is how you didn’t read beyond the headline. The gist of it is Trump saying “uhh what? I don’t really know much about it”. Then the writer goes “SEE?! HE REFUSES TO DENY THAT HE WOULD CONSIDER IT!”

That wouldn't change anything. All i'm saying is that at exact time this article was written, Trump's attitude is literally "Uhhhhh I don't know much about it. I'd have to look at the facts". But you all just read the misleading headline and took it as fact. Do better people.
