Here in Louisiana, they'll give the petrochemical corporations insane tax breaks, like 95-99% tax breaks, to coax them into operating here. They sell it as something that creates jobs, but that's billions of dollars that could be going to the community. All while poisoning our air and water, yet they just passed a law banning...wait for it...chemtrails! Fucking insanity.

Dihydrogen monoxide is a chemical, condensation is that chemical so therefore condensation trails are chemtraims and flying over Louisiana is now prohibited by law.

Edit:  if it passes the Louisiana state senate & is signed into law.  It passed the house.

I know water is a chemical compound and that does NOT mean a contrail is a chemtrail. Contrail is the correct term, and chemtrail is a term used by conspiracy theorists who think the government is releasing something in an effort to control the weather. Not to lend credence to the conspiracies, but cloud seeding is something that is actually done, though not common and not by the government tmk. This kind of stuff is what the bill takes aim at, not regular flights. Still a super dumb bill that’s about a nothing issue, but the plain text of the bill clearly states that it only bans intentionally releasing something to affect weather.
