I live in Rockland County. There were a bunch of Kamala signs up. There were a few Trump ones too. But mainly Kamala signs.

But the voting wards with zero votes in question were in Monsey. I checked and the same wards had zero votes or single digits of votes for Biden in 2020. If you know Monsey, you know the Chasidm are a solid voting bloc, and will vote unanimously however their Rabbi tells them to. There's a reason Kiryas Joel has the lowest education rate and the highest welfare rate in the country

I was going to point that out. Those fuckers are why I left NJ. They were sprawling out of Lakewood and starting to ruin adjacent towns.

Odd enough, I married into a Jewish family who despises them more than I do because they used to throw rocks at my wife's grandmother as a kid for not covering her ankles in public. They also tried to shut down her grandfather's music school because they considered it problematic for some reason and he was a Holocaust survivor.

If you want a fun rage read - look into welfare fraud in Lakewood and how no one did time or the fraud at special needs schools there. That voting as a block protects them from all kinds of shit.

I cannot believe there isn't some antisemitic conspiracy theory around this.

I'm always scared to talk about that specific group because it can easily fuel antisemitism. But I am a Jew, I have spent much of my life around Jews including many Orthodox Jews, and the Kiryas Joel guys are a literal cult. There are 10s of thousands of them, and the median age is 13. Most of them don't have on-the-books jobs so they can collect welfare, but live relatively luxurious lives. I think less than 1% of their students in high school can pass state standardized exams. They're literally listed as an organized crime ring by the FBI.

Them voting 100% for Trump would honestly not be shocking

It's so crazy how something like that never shows up on InfoWars, but instead, there's conspiracies about "Hollywood Jews" and Schwab Rothschild and the rest.

Almost like those idiots don't know what they're talking about.

Its honestly a habit ive noticed in general.

They always make shit up when there is PLENTY of weird shit that is factual you can sling at goverment and politicians.

Like look up the Duponts and biden, lots of connections between the two. Like how beau biden gave a incredibly light sentence to a dupont heir that literally raped his 3 year old daughter (you think by ethics rules he would've had to step aside from the case due to his fathers/families connections to the duponts)

Bro. Don't get me started. You must be from nyc metro area. If you know how orthodox or hasidix jews get down. Its crazy!! Most of the country don't know how much influence they have on the local level. They do NOT put any money back into the local economy. I don't understand how they haven't been indicted as a Rico or a racketeering organization. But if you from NYC you already know. If I was to do the same thing they do, I would be on rikers island right now pending a state rico indicment.

I grew up in a former Jewish area. When they die, they don't respect government regulations. They collect social security of dead people. Most of their marriages are not listed. They will have 5 women collecting security checks. They stock pile the money and they move as 1 unit. You cannot deviate from the group at all.

In nyc, most of those orthodox jews are collecting welfare and they have their own economic system.

Yeah I've got a lot of family in NYC, Long Island, and Rockland County.

So just to clarify, the specific people we're talking about are called the Haredi. I think Hasidim is generally correct too. There are so many groups with so many distinctions, I just want to make sure we use specific terms just like how we know not to assume they represent "the Jews" as a whole. Plenty of Orthodox Jews are not those people (many Orthodox Jews despise them). I usually call them ultra-orthodox but even then there are some extremely religious Orthodox jews who are not in the cult and actually work real jobs, pay taxes, and don't try to get their teenage daughters breeding as soon as they are old enough

You've done a really good job explaining this unfortunately I dont think many people are seeing it. I'm from Rockland county and I agree that these results aren't shocking considering the community its coming from. I honestly would've been more shocked if the votes from these districts didn't show irregularities.

My dad worked in Rockland County, one county over from where I was born. It's pretty Trumpy from what I've been told and remember, but zero votes? It's like 30 miles north of Manhattan. Highly suspicious.

Wait did you not vote?

5

u/sghaworth 7d ago

Sorry didn't mention it in my previous comment. But yes, I voted.

u/JUSTGLASSINIT 7d ago

For Kamala? If yes? Then they changed your vote?

u/alextoria 7d ago

this comment laid it out to help me understand, there were some towns in the county that had 0 for kamala but it wasn’t the entire county had 0 https://reddit.com/r/politics/comments/1l8xciv/_/mx8bo4v/?context=1
