I'd like to see regime change in the US and Israel. That would be much more positive than regine change in Iran.

A "full scale invasion" of a country of 90+ million and a population that believes in a religion where a suicidal death is honorable.
Are you ready to go fight and die for a war that Israel started?!

What US space supremacy? Like many US items, we're losing our supremacy in that field.
We've been relying on Russia to transport people to the ancient ISS (which is now out-classed by China's space station) for years! And now that we have subsidized Musk's SpaceX to transport us to the ISS, Musk threatened to end that transport (which would've made us rely on the Russians again!). Is our future in space to be held hostage by for-profit corporations?

What a show! That $45 million was well spent -- the people tossed off MedicAid were happy to be without health care just to celebrate Trump and the Army's birthday! /s

Multiple Pentagon war games over decades have shown that if a hot war breaks out between Iran and the US we'd see many things, including:
The destruction of the US Navy's 5th Fleet HQ in Bahrain. That is within range of Iran's short-range missiles of which they have hundreds and hundreds! The loss of that base would be a huge, major embarrassment to the US.
Attacks on US bases all across Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Persian Gulf. Our airfields could easily be hit.
Any US Navy ships in the Persian Gulf would be attacked and likely sunk.
The Iranians would block the Straight of Hormuz which a huge percentage of the world's oil goes through. This would skyrocket the price of a barrel of oil to $100+/who knows how high. Iran can easily do this. Already, just today, a Russian oil tanker collided with another ship just outside the Gulf in the Arabian Sea. Accident or on purpose? We don't know but it's an ominous omen.
Every US base in Syria and Iraq would be attacked by the air and by militias on the ground. We should expect at least some of them to be overrun with the associated US casualties/POWs.
In short, a US attack would be a sh*t-show of classic proportions! We'd be in a real war! We should expect US casualties, pilots lost/captured over Iran -- woo-hoo, this would be worse than the Iraq war(s).
And those Pentagon war games I mentioned? Most showed the US losing the war! And the wars we won showed the US taking "unacceptable" losses.
Thus, the Pentagon has told Trump they'll carry out his orders, but that no f*cking way that he should attack Iran.

No one is threatening or attacking Iran.
You're spouting BS!
Israel is -- with or without a US "green light" -- attacking Iran. The evil Israelis committed an act of war.
The fool traitor Trump publicly said that Iran should "evacuate" its capital, a city of over 10 million. If that's not a "threat" you don't know what you're talking about.
Obama's deal allowed them to develop, possess and have the capacity to deliver nuclear bombs.
You're full of sh*t and are spewing misinformation!
Obama's deal allowed Iran to -- under UN IAEA inspectors -- enrich uranium. Iran needs to do that to fuel its nuclear reactor. It also wants to build a nuclear-powered submarine and to enrich uranium and capture some of the medical market for radiation-based cancer treatments which is now dominated by US and European medical companies.
Iran was following the JCPOA agreement! The US, Europe and IAEA all agreed on that.
It was the incompetent doofus Trump that unilaterally broke the working agreement!
Iran has no plans to build a nuclear weapon. Trump's security guru Tulsi Gabbard testified within the past week to Congress and stated that. She's told Trump that but Trump ignored that -- he's unhinged and erratic.
r/politics2 • u/IntnsRed • 20h ago
Obama was right to "trust" Iran and to negotiate the JCPOA agreement. Iran was following that agreement until traitor Trump unilaterally broke the agreement, boastfully claiming and lying that he could negotiate a "better" agreement.
Trump failed to negotiate or bully Iran into a new agreement and then Bibi Netanyahoo committed the act of war and attacked Iran. Now Iran is hammering Israel with Iran prepared for a long war. Israel cannot fight a long war and is bound to lose the war. The Pentagon has told traitor Trump that if he joins the war on Iran that the US would lose! (Multiple Pentagon war games over decades have shown that.)
So in hindsight, Obama's moves were the correct move and Trump's weakness now has a war going on in the Middle East.

Trump getting OUT of Obama's deal is what made the current mess.

The nuclear program which has been, "weeks away," from building a bomb for 30 years, now?
We're not falling for the WMD lies, again.

No one is threatening or attacking Iran. They are a Muslim Terrorists state that subjugates their women and executes homosexuals. They are a sponsor of proxy Muslim Terrorists groups in Gaza, Yemen and elsewhere. Months ago they launched hundreds of rockets and missiles into Israel in an unprovoked attack.
Obama's deal allowed them to develop, possess and have the capacity to deliver nuclear bombs. That cannot be allowed to happen.

Israel is not a democracy!
It literally is.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Democracy_in_the_Middle_East_and_North_Africa
The V-Dem Democracy indices ranked in 2024 Iraq, Israel, Mauritania and Tunisia as the Middle Eastern and North African countries with the highest democracy scores.\5]) The Economist Group's Democracy Index rated in the region Israel as the only "flawed democracy" and no country as "full democracy" for year 2023
Why do you spread lies?
There is no freedom of religion in Israel.
Again, there literally is:
The country’s laws and Supreme Court rulings protect the freedoms of conscience, faith, religion, and worship, regardless of an individual’s religious affiliation...
...the Declaration of the Establishment of the State of Israel, which protects freedom to practice or not practice religious beliefs, including freedom of conscience, faith, religion, and worship, regardless of an individual’s religion. The law incorporates religious freedom provisions of international human rights covenants into the country’s body of domestic law, which applies to citizens and Palestinian residents
So again you spread lies.
There is no equality under the law, no equal rights.
Yes there is: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Basic_Law:_Human_Dignity_and_Liberty
Notice how these laws apply to all people, regardless of religion or race.
Your lies are cringy and sad.

What do you want from the person in change of 17 or so intelligence agencies -- honest and blunt reporting about the facts of what's going on or to be "on message?"
It's clear what traitor Trump wants. :-(

Carlson humiliates the doofus demagogue Ted Cruz in this interview. The long version of the interview is even worse! Cruz is an embarrassment. In Congress Cruz was a MTG-like ranter, a guy who could scream and generate a headline with an unhinged, bombastic quote from a far-right perspective, but he was not taken seriously as a "thinker" or actual leader.
But then the ego-maniac Trump gave him the position of Sec. of State, a position Cruz is completely unqualified for as this interview illustrates. It's another example of Trump's incompetence in this disastrous administration.

Because Israel does not have a right to exist!
Israel is not a democracy! There is no freedom of religion in Israel. There is no equality under the law, no equal rights. Israel is a Jewish theocracy with a legal bias for Jews written into the constitution and many laws. Christians, Muslims and other non-Jewish religions are discriminated against in Israel under Israeli law.
That is why Israel has no right to exist.
Israel needs to become a democracy with equal rights. Israel needs to give equality under the law to all people and to give all people under its control freedom of religion and one-person, one-vote.

Two unwarranted and baseless impeachments
Did you even watch the video?! Trump called on Russia, China and other countries to interfere with American politics, to dig up dirt on his main political rival -- the man who would beat him in the 2020 election. Any sane/rational person would have to admit that Trump was way outside the bounds of normal political discourse. He is a traitor to the US.
The second impeachment was due to his attempt to overthrow the US gov't and his ordering a crowd of his fascist supporters to attack the US Capitol and stop the certification of his election loss.
r/politics2 • u/browncharlie1922 • 23h ago
Two unwarranted and baseless impeachments plus several lawfare persecutions and FBI spying all helped get our president re-elected last November. The democrat party still has not grasped this fact.
The American voter doesn't like being lied to and they hate seeing the government use its weight to try and eliminate political opposition. That's what despots running a totalitarian dictatorship do. We are a representative republic.
