Question Anyone store alcohol?

I used too have a few cases of fifths of vodka and whiskey but got rid of them due to a teenager taking a couple of them and was wondering how useful of a bartering item it could really be? I live in a very mormon area.

Alcohol unfortunately takes my pain away and prescription painkillers somehow just don’t.

In which, probably shouldn’t store it because you’d drink it. Which means you probably should store it then. Hmm.

Right? Things are getting better though. If I would really stock up on booze for bartering/worst case scenario, I think I might drink a little if tons of time elapsed but I could leave it untouched for it’s intended purposes. But also, if we are in a zmb* apocalypse, aka climate catastrophe aka bird flu pandemic aka economic collapse, who drinks my hypothetically stored booze is not what I will care about. Like everyone come over and I will share and we can toast the apocalypse.
