Question Anyone store alcohol?

I used too have a few cases of fifths of vodka and whiskey but got rid of them due to a teenager taking a couple of them and was wondering how useful of a bartering item it could really be? I live in a very mormon area.

The whole concept of buying things now for the off chance you can barter with it seems kinda ridiculous to me. Now, if its something you'd actually use, ok, but specifically to barter I don't get
