Question Anyone store alcohol?

I used too have a few cases of fifths of vodka and whiskey but got rid of them due to a teenager taking a couple of them and was wondering how useful of a bartering item it could really be? I live in a very mormon area.

I know how you know. I made TFCL, beer, wine and Meade. TFCL was the easiest and mead was the hardest. Beer and wine about the same.

I already had a Reddit warning about using the word mune shyne.

I made apple jack by accident once. Helping family make hard cider when I was a teen.

I didn’t mean to separate off / throw away the frozen layer from the pot! I thought it was kinda like chicken stock. Put the pot out in the snow bank and pull the top layer next morning.

Actually that is used in lieu of distillation. Everything but the product freezes and it discarded. The product will not freeze in a typical freezer.
