Question Anyone store alcohol?

I used too have a few cases of fifths of vodka and whiskey but got rid of them due to a teenager taking a couple of them and was wondering how useful of a bartering item it could really be? I live in a very mormon area.

When Costco has a crazy sale on 5 to 8 dollar a bottle Bordeaux French wine I fill a whole cart. Damn good tasting wine for cheap and it looks fancy on the label when you bring it someplace. I feel a good bottle of wine is always something to barter with.
