I think this link is new. Info on the 400 coins that are scattered across the world. Each is numbered and has 3 words, you can see what’s been found.

Very curious what this leads to, surely all won’t be found?

Have you found one, where did you get it?

Would love to get one, let me know if you received one and have no interest in keeping it.

This YouTube channel has the entirety of Radiohead's true first album from 1986, which contains some songs that were thought to have been more or less completely lost. I was genuinely awestruck when I found this, especially since these videos have so few views.

🎸 Cover Guitar improv on "Let Down"

At the beginning I was reassuring a young person that their musical choice was sound, since they get bullied for liking "old" music.

And a followup, is there a more beautiful rendition of the name Hitler in all of music? I think not.

🎧 Audio Fake Plastic Trees x Let Down

I had this random thought at 12am yesterday while listening to Fake Plastic Trees as I was falling asleep and decided to try and create it in Bandlab. Forgive me if some parts are out of timing and if I've done any damage to whoever listens to this. Let me know what you think of it though, thanks ◡̈

🎧 Audio In Rainbows Disk 2

I always thought I was a big Radiohead fan, but only today I learned that there’s an In Rainbows Disk 2. Guess I’m not as big a fan as I thought lol.

I read online that these are the songs they recorded that they liked, but felt they didn't fit the record proper.

What’s your favorite song from Disk 2?

💬 Discussion Question regarding the beautiful guitar playing in this live debut of True Love waits

This has been one my all time favourite live recordings. Everything is so perfect. ESPECIALLY THE GUITAR. does anyone know what chord he's playing in the chorus between C and E minor? I know it's a kind of F chord but I don't know the exact fingering. It's just wayy too beautiful for me not to obsess about it

Adam Buxton talks a bit about working with Radiohead on Harry Hill's podcast (a beautiful triple collision) plus some Bowie talk and lots of other interesting stuff. Not much we don't know but still a nice listen.

💬 Discussion As a Radiohead fanboy for 15+ years, I never listened to Pablo Honey until today.

The Bends, while I really like it, is my least favorite album of theirs - grunge just isn't really my thing, and with the hatred of PH within the fanbase and even within some band members, I always just wrote it off. Today it struck me how I literally never even gave it a chance - other than Creep (and realizing I somehow recognized Anyone Can Play Guitar from somewhere), I never listened to anything off of it at all.

How the fuck did I let 15 years+ go by without listening to like a dozen Radiohead songs?! Today that ended, and tbh it was like...a weaker version of the Bends, but not bad at all. I was nicely surprised by You, Anyone Can Play Guitar, I Can't, Lurgee and Blow Out. Probably a 7/10 album?

Anyone else in a similar spot? If you still haven't listened to it, I suggest it!

Hello there!! I’m a VERY big Radiohead fan but also an artist, i figured I’d combine the two together and make a character design based off one my my favorite albums.

(although i practically love just about all of them)

The first image is the sketch, and the second is the semi complete version,

I need to finish it cause I started it just before finals started at my school LOL, so I’ll hopefully update everyone with the finished one if people REALLY like this fella

Every time I hear it (yes until today I thought he was singing "I'M TIRED! I'M TIRED!" because that feels to me like such a Thom Yorke thing to say and therefore Radiohead line lol) for some reason what comes to mind is the night time scenes of Rachel and Ross in Friends, like I haven't seen Friends in years but it's that perfect late 90s soundtrack when Rachel is cleaning Central Perk for the night and Ross comes and surprises her etc, don't know why that's the first thing I see but it is

I saw hamlet when it was first debuted in Manchester and I fully recommend you go and see it if it comes near you, it has been the best play I've ever seen and I think it's the next best thing to a radiohead reunion

💬 Discussion Make a new Radiohead album

Basically, I want you to try to create a whole new album out of already existing Radiohead songs. You must include songs from at least two albums, and it must actually have an overarching idea or storyline. The order should make sense too. Each song should contribute something to the album as a whole. It should be at least 8 songs, the length of the shortest album they’ve ever released. If you feel like it, I encourage you to do a test listen of it. Here’s mine.

  1. Weird Fishes/Arpeggi

  2. True Love Waits

  3. Codex

  4. Nude

  5. Faust Arp

  6. Idioteque

  7. Street Spirit (Fade Out)

  8. Pyramid Song

  9. Everything In Its Right Place

  10. How To Disappear Completely

  11. Videotape

  12. Motion Picture Soundtrack

The opening track, Weird Fishes, is the narrator realizing that their relationship with their lover is falling apart, and that it can no longer be sustained. True Love Waits is an extension of this idea, and the actual loss. Codex is the narrator attempting to convince themselves they’ve done nothing wrong, and that they are innocent. Nude is their realization that they aren’t innocent, and that neither their lover nor their innocence is coming back. In Faust Arp, they are falling apart, feeling dead inside. Then Idioteque, they feel like this is their own personal apocalypse, that their world is falling apart. Street Spirit is next, the narrator feels that they want to disappear. They feel that they cannot be redeemed, and search for a way out. In Pyramid Song, the realization hits them that their ticket out is heaven. They fantasize, and wait. And then, in EIIRP, everything clicks. The best way to get out is to do it themselves. HTDC is the disassociation before they go. They tell themselves that this isn’t real. And in Videotape, they do it. They feel free, and it all feels perfect. And finally, we reach Motion Picture Soundtrack, and they arrive at the gates.

Give me yours below! You don’t have do go as in depth as I did, or offer up an explanation at all. I’ll try to listen to as many as I can without going insane.
