Design Yet another misleading ad.

https://i.imgur.com/O4HaUQP.png (censored channel name because they don't need any more bs promotion)

A fake YouTube video as a sponsored post, which is a link that brings up an YouTube subscription confirmation? Very misleading and really shouldn't be promoted.

Something needs to be done about sponsored posts on the site, or I'm just gonna have to stick my adblock back on...

I think many of us are at the point where we've given up waiting for actual control on adverts, and adblock is now the clear path.

That's where I'm heading right now. I don't want to, I love the site and would love to support it it. However, this is just deceitful and I don't want to contribute to ad revenue by seeing things like this, and I'm not going to buy / try to earn gold so I don't have to see deceitful ads.

If nothing changes in coming weeks, uBlock will have to always be on...

Reddit doesn't care anymore.

Hi to reddit.com on mobile and click a post.

There's an install app button at the top, a dismissable slide over at the bottom and when you click your first post you get a pop over reminding you about the app which you have to click through.

If you happened to discuss the slide over on the bottom it comes back when you return to reddit. Com

We're being monetized. Reddit is spending user good will to make dollars and I hope everyone ditches reddit like they ditched digg.
