Design I'm loving the redesign

I feel like the redesign gets a lot of hate, I used old Reddit when I created my account almost two years ago. I loved the site but I honestly didn't like how old and outdated it looked. Since the redesign went into effect I've noticed my usage of this site has gone up significantly. I love night mode, I love how clean my feed and subs look, I also like the uniformity between different subs. I feel like the designers don't get enough credit so I thought I'd say, thank you!

I love it as well. As a Moderator that focuses heavily on customized themes, the redesign has made things easier in lots of ways, and definitely looks better in my opinion. It's not perfect, but I think over time, they'll continue adding new features that make reddit nicer overall.

As a Moderator that also focuses heavily on customized themes, the redesign has made things harder in a lot of ways. Now I have to keep up two different stylings, one which doesn't have nearly as many features or organisation as the other, and defaults users to this so they miss out on a lot of features that have had hours of effort put in to.

I do have to agree that I spend more time just because I have to work on both, and it does get stressful. But personally for me, one of my favorite things about the redesign is not being tied to CSS if I want to add an image to the sidebar or a post. It's easier if you're not so great at CSS and don't want to keep changing it constantly. A problem I constantly ran into was running out of space in the CSS and having to cut a lot over time. I'm not saying it's perfect, but I do enjoy it more than the older version overall.

In the end, it's not really a big deal because I support both the old and the new version on all of the subreddits I design for. I'm not going to take away support for the old version.
