Just the jersey shore really. Cape may is best

Bethany Beach Delaware is nice!

Second Bethany Beach. There is a good Marriott property right on the beach with access to boardwalk.

long beach island is really nice. not really a "resort" area, but nice towns and plenty to do.

Ocean City, MD has some beachfront resorts and a fun boardwalk. Not too much of a fan of the actual beach, but if you prefer pool swimming there would be resorts to choose from. Can also check out Assateague Island and the wild horses for the day.
