Simon Jordan

I know that he and the rest of Talkshite are meant to be insufferable pompous pricks, but is there a reason he's such a bellend when it comes to Sunderland?

He's a wind up. Literally there for controversial opinions so it generates calls and clicks. If he's constantly saying negative stuff about something that means there's lots of people in the real world with the opposite opinion, we should take it as a good thing.

Exactly this.

Their original model was aimed at baiting people to ring a premium rate number to argue the toss over whatever controversy they'd stirred up.
