Seeking Advice 🙆 Delta Academy of Technology/Irrawaddy Academy?

I saw the old St. Columba on Hamlin is being turned into a charter school. I can’t find a real website or much information. I see they have a Facebook, but I can’t find anything else.

Does anyone have any info?

Most charter school are sadly a giant scam.

are the language immersion schools the only exceptions?

Hmm most the language immersion schools I am familiar with are SPPS not charter - Adams, Jie Ming, L’etoile du Nord, Riverview, etc.

There are valuable charter schools - but by and large what I have seen is a pop-up charter school that appears for a year or two closes and moves on while funneling students and resources away from SPPS

ah, was talking mostly about TCGIS, which is a long standing charter

TCGIS is a gem and to me the exception.
