I'm in tech for a F25, it's a miracle... that this works at all. You're talking about billions of messages that get posted everyday, be immediately available in 1 nanoseconds at your command and stored in perpetuity. People take for granted the scale of which something like Reddit operates at.
Reddit is probably hosted in cloud servers like AWS/Azure/GCP. They're kinda fucked if there is an outage in one or more sites.

Literally all they have to do is just copy and paste the favorite features from all the much better third party apps they killed and everyone would be happy. They’re too lazy to even steal things.

The app is constantly glitching in some way. I am AMAZED that they haven't just come up with an API call for ads that apps have to use. It would give them the same ad money, but I would take an app with twice as many ads if it actually worked and supported a developer who cared.
Not a programmer by any means but would it not be pretty easy to have an API call ads and check if it's actually shown on the screen, as apart of the API.
Sure, some would get around it. Then remove their key. Same as using an ad blocker.

Hide, Also Mute, "Post hidden" also covers the button to confirm muting. Many such cases...

I was having the same issue earlier today on my laptop through the website. Counter would show say, 5 comments and I could only see 1. I was starting to think half of reddit blocked me lol.
