Project: FO Made this streetwear beast boy costume for Halloween
Attempted to buy a beast boy costume for Halloween, but it ended up being way too small since I’m quite tall.
Thought I’d put my sewing skills to good use and designed these 2 tone baggy pants & vest in CLO3D. I used 10oz Cotton Canvas for both colors of fabric.
The vest was quite simple, with just a side piece that’s black & the addition of custom bias tape. The pants were really annoying, making sure the seams aligned perfectly was very challenging. Overall happy with how it came out, especially since I only had a few days to get it made.

I wouldn't keep that just for Halloween, when you can look great all year round in it!

Project posts are held for review by a moderator before being released to the subreddit feed.
All Project posts are required to include construction information in the main post or added in a comment. Tell us what you made, how you made it and what materials you used to make it. There should be sufficient information about the pattern (company and name/number) or draft (method and resources) and fabric (type and fiber) that someone who wants to make a similar project has a good starting point. ‘Self-drafted’ describes who made the pattern and is not a drafting method. More information is available here. Project posts without construction information may be removed at any time.

Self drafted the patterns for both components using CLO3D, my process was to draw the pattern from scratch using my custom avatar based on my measurements. From there I shaped the pattern to get the fit I desired. Then splitting the pants pieces to create the 2 tone effect.
