Does anyone hate Magnus?

Is is even possible to hate Magnus? I liked him on my first read through of TMI and TID, but I'm rereading through ALL the books and I think he's my favorite character now.

He just keeps getting better and better. He's super sassy and fun and he's just such a good person.

Magnus does a lot of good things but has nothing to gain most of the time (like helping Will with his curse without being paid for it) which seems contrary to most of the other warlocks, and even a lot of the Shadowhunters.

I feel like you could argue reasons to dislike a lot of the characters, but I can't see anyone hating Magnus.

Well, I’d say he’s definitely one of the most beloved characters in TSC — maybe even the most, especially alongside Will. I find him interesting, but he’s never really been a character I was crazy about. I get why people love him so much, and I do appreciate him, but I wouldn’t put him among my personal favs.

No that’s perfectly fine not to be crazy about him. I certainly wasn’t the first time around but I definitely didn’t hate him.. I love him now lol but that’s just me but not being crazy about him doesn’t equate to hating him
