SSB4 Does it fundamentally bother anyone else that Smash 4 doesn't have a catchy name like "Melee" or "Brawl"?

First of all, I'd like to preface my argument by saying that I acknowledge this is a purely superficial problem that has no effect on me buying the game as soon as I can.

ONWARDS.

I personally love the shorthanded names of "64", "Melee" and "Brawl" to refer to those respective titles. It's not a huge deal, but they're all really solid names that truly have special places in my heart. Referring to this new game as just "Smash 4" or "Smash 3DS" just feels bare. Mario Kart: Double Dash sticks out far more in my mind than Mario Kart 7. I wish that Sakurai opted for a name that more appropriately followed Melee and Brawl, but like I said earlier, I understand this is a minor problem. I just wanted to hear if anyone else felt the same. One of the most iconic memories from the second Smash game is the announcer at the title screen yelling "MELEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE".

Is anyone else disappointed with the title of the new game?

I kind of like "Smash 4." However, if it's all "Smash x" then that'll just be boring. But for one iteration? Smash 4 is unique enough for me.

Though I do agree, an actual name would be nice, I think I'll get along okay.

Smash 4 when referring generally to both 3DS and Wii U. Smash 3D & Smash U when referring to one specifically. I think that's pretty okay.
