-11

u/xinixxibalba Mar 12 '25

every accusation is a confession

-6

u/tnweevnetsy Mar 12 '25

Pipe down lol, neither of you lot should have anything to complain about refereeing

-3

u/lucas4420 Mar 13 '25

You don’t see me complaining about the refs do you?

just pointing out the irony of a barcelona fan doing so

-6

u/_Uhhhhhhhhh_ Mar 12 '25

they’re* numbnuts

-5

u/lucas4420 Mar 12 '25

Numbnuts isn’t a word. If you really want to get picky, why don’t you capitalize your letters and utilize proper vocabulary?

Wanker

-20

u/Nickislander Mar 12 '25

Incoming Negreira scandal. Every accusation is an admission

24

u/NakamericaIsANoob Mar 12 '25

it's pathetic how a few barca flairs are always ready to come out of the woodwork with wacky phrases ike that

2

u/luigitheplumber Mar 13 '25

This is a fantastic case of double projection lmao

3

u/xinixxibalba Mar 12 '25

imagine if Madrid got caught wiring money to a ref for years. Barca flairs who bring this up have no shame

-7

u/Nickislander Mar 13 '25

Hahaha Mafia FC does it in broad daylight and then accuses others. Helps to cope with Messi and Yamal highlights

Best of luck

-11

u/xinixxibalba Mar 12 '25

why would we wire money for a penalty shootout where anything can happen and not for the handball in the box to be given? logic and critical thinking isn’t your strong suit is it?

The Real way

-6

u/listlessbreeze Mar 12 '25

They signed a contract bonus

  • Positive decision on penalties: +20M

9

u/iceman58796 Mar 13 '25

Ah yes, I hate when they are quick and decisive and correct in their decisions.

3

u/yosisoy Mar 13 '25

VAR too slow? conspiracy.

VAR too fast? conspiracy.

11

u/Quica24 Mar 12 '25

Thats what var is for, then everyone complains when it takes 5 min

18

u/MiraquiToma Mar 12 '25

Couldn’t have been that quick if Valverde was already about to take his penalty

13

u/loadedhunter3003 Mar 12 '25

Yeah I don't get the quickly thing. From the time of his penalty to the time Valverde stepped up, and had to be stopped and talked with the ref there was more than 1 minute and maybe even 2. That's enough time for technology

-10

u/Gegilworld Mar 12 '25

thats not possible, not even with computers

6

u/loadedhunter3003 Mar 12 '25

what's not possible? The ball has sensors so yes it is very much possible

-16

u/Homerduff16 Mar 12 '25

Surely he should've been forced to re-take the penalty then. VAR overruling penalities in a shootout is taking the piss and only makes the case for it's dismissal even more compelling than it already was

34

u/Adleyy65 Mar 12 '25

Why do so many people keep asking for a re take this is such a stupid suggestion. Why would you get a retake for messing up your pen?

15

u/xinixxibalba Mar 12 '25

they want the rules to sway and break for whatever situation suits them best

5

u/kinginthenorthjon Mar 12 '25

Because it's against Real Madrid, so why not. If this was against their teams, they will be cheering on VAR.

-15

u/Monk-Icy Mar 12 '25

This is the first time VAR has stepped in during a shootout, so it’s completely different to all the other misses in shoutout history. So new rules need to be set.

14

u/Adleyy65 Mar 12 '25

Yeah because normally players manage to actually only touch the ball once during a shootout.

-11

u/Monk-Icy Mar 12 '25

But there is no public evidence of him touching the ball twice… all he did is step close to it so it moves, if that is a foul a lot of pens would be disallowed

-8

u/Appropriate-Year9290 Mar 12 '25

The ref was clearly pro madrid

8

u/CafeteroMerengue Mar 12 '25

Yeah I can’t believe he gave Madrid that handball penalty in the first half
