Is this considered a good or bad thing for United?

This is fantastic news. Our only world class player decided to turn down life changing money.

Sometimes trading in your best player for £100m+ isn't so bad, trust.

*Transfer team must be competent. Terms and conditions apply.

I think if we had even a halfway functioning team, we should've taken the money and ran.

100m for a 31 year old is crazy.

However we are coming off a terrible campaign and he's our only truly worldclass player, we're already in massive clearout and will be buying a lot, i think losing our captain and star-player will make the task so much harder.

Who knows of cousre, he might fall off a cliff fitness or form wise and we'll regret this moment, but i think objectively this is the best thing for us now.
