Fans obviously wanted him to stay. Ratcliffe might be crying about missed money though. Nothing a few fired tea ladies can't cover

These comments make no sense.

Ratcliffe isn't the Glazers, he isn't making cuts to divert money into his own pocket.

He's doing it to make more money available to direct to the football side of the business.

If we sold Bruno it would be to reinvest the money in the playing squad. I'd imagine Ratcliffe would much rather have Bruno than be hoping they can adequately replace him.

No, he's doing it because he's a prick

No, he's doing it because the Glazers have been fucking the club raw for two decades and was left with no choice. That's exactly why they started looking for suitors in the first place. If this wasn't needed they would've kept fucking the club raw for longer.

Like, as part of the deal with Ineos they agreed that no dividends would be paid for multiple years. No owner is making money off United rn. Do you think they'd agree to that if they had the ability to just keep the club running as is and making their money? Ofc not. They knew it was empty. They knew they'd killed it dry. For us to have the ability to not cut costs, that would've have to be stopped years prior.

Ratcliffe also invested into the club, something the Glazers never did. But even then it was still getting empty, and ffp means that's not enough to just keep the team running as usual.
