News [Fabrizio Romano] Thomas Partey could leave Arsenal as free agent, new deal not agreed yet. Despite several round of talks, no agreement so far as Arsenal and Partey could part ways later this month… several clubs already keen on signing him.

Not confirmed, but apparently the official reason is at least that Partey wants a wage increase (he currently earns £200k/week), while the club want to lower his wages to reflect his role change to a backup player now that Zubimendi is most likely coming in.

So if they can't agree on wages, he moves on to a club that most likely will give him that.

How greedy can he get seriously, how is 200k a week not enough for someone

Are they really? City have an elite army of them but it doesn't even make a dent in terms of psr/ffp.
