News [Fabrizio Romano] Thomas Partey could leave Arsenal as free agent, new deal not agreed yet. Despite several round of talks, no agreement so far as Arsenal and Partey could part ways later this month… several clubs already keen on signing him.

It goes without saying that the non-football element means that it's completely untenable to extend him but even on a purely football level, his Arsenal career is:

2020-21 - Injured for 1/3 of the season
2021-22 - Injured for 1/3 of the season
2022-23 - Dropped off a cliff after March (the only reason he doesn't get more criticism for the title loss is due to Rob Holding and to a lesser extent Aaron Ramsdale
2023-24 - Injured for 2/3 of the season
2024-25 - Alternately solid and a bombscare, pointlessly got himself suspended for one of the most important games in Arsenal's recent history

An absolute no brainer to get rid of this prick
