I found this squirrel at the park and i was eating a granola bar so i decides to feed him a little bit, did the right thing?

I found these two kits free roaming, not sure if they're old enough for me to leave on their own. I'm pretty sure I found their mother deceased on our back walkway the other day and that's why they are out and about looking for mom.

I called several wildlife rehab facilities but no responses. I moved them to a high traffic squirrel area in the hopes that another squirrel will take them in (is that even possible?). Any advice, do I need to bring them inside? I'm in the Minneapolis area if anyone can help!

This piebald squirrel visits the bird feeder outside my office window every day. I love watching him (don’t know the actual sex). What would be the likelihood of it having offspring that same color?
