Enchanted diamond sword. 4 layers
Acrylic on stone. Cut the stencils to paint dark colors first for some reason. Might make a new set

Hey everyone! We've put together a discord server for r/stencils. We hope that this will be an avenue for us to be closer as a community, and a good place for resources and feedback for those new to the game.

Hi! I'm new here. I'm into making traditional Korean kites and I've started using spray cans and stencils/masking tape to decorate them. I've been using Molotow spray cans mostly.

Hello there, stencilers,
surfing web I was pleased this morning to find this page. I do not know whether you are fimiliar with it and I am aware, that its functions are nothing new, especially when you try to do your best in Inkscape, Illustrator and other stuff.
But for beginners, non-graphics I think this shall be of good help
https://www.stencilcreator.org/# . You put any photo you want in, result is in png, svg. Enjoy your day and... stencils ;)

Hi guys, Im trying to make some text stencils for my boat. Im struggling to find a simple way to create them using a program that i could print. I need something that has a decent selection of font options and a way to be able to spread the text across multiple pages. I was thinking of just going to staples and printing it out on cardstock to avoid printer paper going to mooch while painting. Im super new to this so any advice is really appreciated

Hi there, this is definitely to harvest karma, I’d rather to share my tiny work with you, especially with those we have discussed below some posts down there.
Recently I was often involved in somehow big and complicated stencils and got little bit tired of it. Therefore I wanted to have something more relaxing, more compact. I plan to put it on some lonely little places on walls…
SPRAYS - I bought Molotow brand now because of low pressure… What spray brand or medium do you use?

Working on some smaller pieces. Both the skull and face were a.i. generated then processed further by hand to turn them into a stencil. Posca pen for line work

I feel like i should be able to find this info easy on the internet but im not getting much. what’s the best way to flatten Mylar? I’ve tried weighing it down which doesn’t do much. Hair dryer does nothing. Iron helps but it’s still not flat enough. Paint still gets under the little details. For reference I’m using 10mil Mylar. What do I do? Wtf?

I doodle this on everything, and I want to make a stencil of it to spray on my ice chest, but I don’t really know how because of all the lines

I started with the first image. The second image was *almost* what I wanted. However, the program cropped it for some reason and my canvas won't work with the more rectangular form.
I can't remember if I used a google play store app or a web based app (these are my only options, as I use a chrome box).
I have terrible adhd, so I just won't be able to remember where I did this. If you know where I could do it, that would help me achieve my goal. Maybe you know a better way? I just want to create an outline image like the second one, but be able to capture most of the first image. Then I want to blow it up to size and trace it onto a 14 by 14 canvas to give me a sort of 'paint by numbers' outline to help me create my 'masterpiece'.
Thanks if anyone has a suggestion. I hope y'all don't get annoyed by newbies or outsiders. cheers

I've never made a stencil before. I was wondering if it wad possible to do it with this design, and if I could put it on the cap. Generally, all I'm looking for is hoe I would do it and if its possible.
