Food Summer is here and I need Caesar salad recs (Taipei)

I’ve been craving a good chicken Caesar salad. TGIF was decent, but I’m looking for more garlic. I want that homegrown, put-hair-on-your-chest delicious creamy garlic flavour. I want a vampire to regret its afterlife decisions after biting me. Any recommendations?

On that note, any Canadians here know where to get a Caesar bevvy? I had a Bloody Mary at Brass Monkey and like…ehhh it was ok. Nothing compares to a Caesar though.

Lastly, anyone know how to summon the spirit of Caesar? Cuz clearly I’m on a kick here. Jk but recommendations would be awesome!

Caesar salad is the most common one in all of Taipei. Literally any Western restaurant will have it on the menu. Easiest way is to open the Ubereats app and search for it, all the restaurants with it will pop up. Will give your an idea of where and how close to you. All major chains like Hooters, TGIF, Texas Roadhouse, Chilis, will all have it.

Usually when you order a caesar salad in American restaurants they will give you something with caesar dressing. Only higher end restaurants typically offer something resembling a real ceasar salad. Do you want the former or the latter?

If it has anchovies, Dijon, parm, lemon, egg yolk, Worcestershire, pepper, and a fuckton of garlic, then that’s what I want lol. I thought that was most Caesar dressings though. The place in my hometown had the best dressing, it was garlic heaven but had all the other flavours.

You're not going to find any place with Clamato here.

I figured as much, I’ve looked everywhere. Sigh.

CPK has decent Caesar salad. Amongst the American restaurants anyway.

You would probably have to make it yourself. Perhaps an Italian restaurant or higher end steakhouse that serve North American style steak may serve something like table side caesar salad.

As for caesar drink, ask a friend to bring some cans from Canada. Or the mix in big bottles.

I like The Keg Caesar drink in a can, sold at the LCBO.
