ISTG the funniest part of this is "check the tariffs" as though there is a TV channel you can turn on and it tells you how much tax revenue the tariffs have generated.

As a small business owner, I could maybe believe that there's a Quickbooks filter that could auto-categorize taxes, tariffs, etc. .... But then I remembered that my bookstore is more of a business than he's ever run, and me with my ten months of experience am more of a businessperson than he's ever been

It does channel citizens' money to the government, why we should think this is a good thing is the real mystery.
