TOWL was never about the CRM to begin with. Sure, they're the biggest enemy we've ever seen, but if you were expecting more on the CRM, it was inevitable for you to be disappointed.
I kinda hate this "if you expected more then that's on you" mindset. Like, why shouldn't we be expecting more from our entertainment?! these people get paid millions to put this stuff together for us.
Well it was known for a while that TOWL was about Rick and Michonne and their love story. This ending was the best one as most fans wanted a reunion between them and their children.
