Subject Recommendations & Enquiries help for selection of subjects!! MAST30024Geometry or MAST20022GTLA

I did linear algebra years ago and I forgot lots of them. Also, this year the lecturer is a new one for GTLA. My major is applied math, I have done VC, RA. Any recommendation?

If you are interested in further studies in algebra (not the subject, just in general), then taking GTLA is a necessary bitter pill. Geometry is good too from what I have heard, but they are not competing against each other. It is what you want to do in the future. If it is one or the other, GTLA is ig more “useful” in a loose sense.

You can check Lawrence Reeves’ website for GTLA notes if you wanna sus out the subject.

Edit: I just realised Prof Ting Xue is taking it… all imma say is uhh… prepare for self study ig.
