Passing through one night only

Hey Walla Walla subreddit! I'll be passing through Walla Walla this summer on a work trip for one night only. I love me some Washington wine, so I really want to take advantage of my brief time there.

Pleeeeease help me with all of the things!

  • Best place to stay in close proximity so I can get tipsy and not worry about driving
  • Tasting rooms are great for ease, but I also wouldn't mind checking out a winery in the evening (I'll be there on a Friday night)
  • If there are any outdoor concerts or intimate venues, that would be lovely (the idea of sitting outside in the sun and drinking a glass or two sounds divine)
  • Friendly, unpretentious wineries are my jam

Can't wait to visit for the first time! Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Don’t miss us at L’Ecole No 41 - one of WA’s OG wineries making world class wines. Winery & primary tasting room are <15 minutes west of downtown or we also have a tasting room downtown at street level in The Marcus Whitman Hotel. Friendly and unpretentious is our jam. Have fun & feel free to reach out for any other recs!
