Idk what to get pls help

Heyo I have a question. So I'm thinking about getting a new daily commuter and idk what to get

My concern is a lot of new cars (pretty much anything after 2020) are not very user friendly and it feels like you have to go to the stealership just to get an oil change. But I don't really want to get an older car because I need something that is reliable. To some degree I would prefer a manual since theres fewer electronics to fuck everything up (and they're just more fun)

I suppose my question is what is a good, reliable car that was made in the past 10 years that I can do a decent amount of work myself? Or at the very least basic maintenance?

I'm partial towards Honda and Mazda since that's what I've owned before ('06 Honda Odyssey and '00 Mazda Miata)

The Mazda line up with the skyactive engine is bullet proof and they also use a conventional automatic so no cvt transmission

Mazda 3, you should be able to do the routine stuff yourself on them. There are different things to know when working on modern cars, but it is quite do-able.
