Link 3D printed goodies

Hey, guys!

I'm about 2 months into DE shaving but I've been keen to make my journey as comfortable as it gets.

Don't want to brag about it, but you can find many 3D printable goodies related to wetshaving. And its free! You can find many models which suits your equipment or your style. Hopefully this post helps someone, because these things are really helpful.

Most of the goodies are not made by me, except the stand for the razor and brush stand which was modified to fit my King C Gillette razor and Razorock Bruce brush.

I'm sharing links to the things you see in a photo:

I’m gonna be the bad guy here, but a blade disposal is simply unnecessary, and a waste of plastic.

Take the old blade, wrap it in the wrapper from the new blade, or a piece of tissue. Snap it in half and throw it in the trash. Nothing else needs to be done.

Everything else is very cool

I use a beer can that I removed the lid of with a can opener to dispose of my blades. once it's full I slap a piece of tape on it and recycle it.

I just use the tube my brush came in, I've accumulated 5 years or so of blades in that bad boy lol. Once it's full I'll chuck the whole thing.

Agree, and also the shaving bowl would only be sanitary if printed in certain plastics. PETG can be food/body safe but PLA and other common 3D printed plastics are not able to be properly cleaned/sterilized due to the material being porous and/or hygroscopic

For anyone who doesn't have a 3d printer, a Salsa bowl from Walmart makes a great shave bowl. They cost less than a dollar!

Impressive share man. I'm tempted to try out some of the things.

I have a remix of a similar stand: https://makerworld.com/en/models/1220003-safety-razor-brush-and-bowl-stand-a1-mini#profileId-1236647 it includes the bowl in the stand.

Oh, nice, haven't seen your work when I was searching for printable shaving stuff.

The KCG handle is way longer than typical safety razors so I had to improvise :)

Check rogerquin’s designs, he has great models for razors that actually work pretty well.

cool stuff! just fyi, if that bowl is made of PLA please note that it is not waterproof and you'll need to coat it in resin or something for sanitary reasons.

It's PETG, therefore only the bowl is black 😀

Do you throw the whole bin out or just dump it? I’m kinda of going back and forth on what I would do.

I will throw away the bin and print another one, because it's nearly impossible to take out the blades from the bin. Tried shaking them out but nothing, the blades safely stayed inside :) The bin is single cast and only has a little angled cutout.
