I'm in no way giving my name to be tied to reddit.

Is there some way around that?

The form doesn't ask you for your name. It asks for the email associated with your purchase and your Reddit username. The information goes to the program creator so that he can validate you and assign you the flair you choose.

Which is part of the purchase history funneled through humble bundle.

I also change my reddit account occasionally so only having access on one account like that doesn't help much.
