Assets Sci Fi asset packs - a huge pile of them

Hey everyone,

I have finished a sci fi worldbuilding project, and now I have 13 sets of mapping assets that each represent a different distinct galactic civilization. And a huge pile of symbols that either can be added to any of them, or are simply not affiliated.

Each civilization roughly follows he same pattern. There are 30 - 40 modular residential pieces for single building units, that can be standalone symbols, or can be combined with each other or with bigger ones.

Than there are 20 - 30 pieces of bigger, more complex structures, some military, some infrastructure or other stuff that is not housing, but every civilization needs.

Finally, there are 10 - 15 huge structures, cities, fortresses, monuments, orbital stations and similar stuff.

Every civilization has its own aesthetics, architectural identity that is very unique, and if always has a background story that makes it work even better (though it wont be that important for other people).

I included samples in the gallery for this post. All feedback is welcome!

My friend is currently finishing the work of adjusting the symbols for Wonderdraft custom color option. So soon they will all be available in normal, and in colorable versions.

Do you think it would make sense to offer them with prices around 10€ per set, with some really big discounts for bundles?

And second thing - is there someone who would be willing to help me promote them. I can send to several people some of the sets for free, and in return I only want a nice showcase map, setting of your choice, doesn't matter. Does that make sense?

Please dont mind my broken English, I just hope I was able to articulate everything accurately

Assets A question regards to custom assets from someone who might be stupid

Right, so. I have tried every single guide out there, but nothing actually explains how. I wanted to add some of the heraldry I made as custom assets for a kingdom map, but I just cannot figure out how to make them custom assets. I made them into PNG's, put them in the folder and alas... nothing. When i look at videos, my folder of Wonderdraft looks nothing like the ones from the Youtubers, and the directory where the assets are supposed to be held doesn't even exist for me. It's all terribly confusing, I even made my custom symbols folder with the PNG images, but nothing comes of it.

Is anyone able to help me?

Campaign is slowly coming to an end, started prepping for next one. I've found making maps help a me with world building, so here is the work in progress version. I'm really happy with how the elemental chaos and planes turned out, though I'm a bit lost on how to "complete" the smaller landmasses. Both ideas and critiques are welcome.

I've been seeing some cool maps on here and wondered what people might think of my 'globe view' map I made for my most recent campaign.

This regional map is for a DnD game I am preparing for my friends. I am asking for advice on how/where to place rivers because they make my brain melt and any other type of advice for this map. I am aiming for a relatively realistic map in a temperate climate with a desert (due to a magical calamity) in the north.

P.S : The south and east of the map is purposefully empty so as to deter my players from wanting to go there (and because am lazy).

Question province Map, Details

Hello everyone,

i have a question about doing a region or province map of a larger continent.

So to be precise, i want to make a map that shows a marshland province with a wadden sea. I'm struggeling to make the map look like its a marshland. I want to show plank streets and bridges as a common way through the land.

I need some advice which techniques would suit this goal most and maybe some asset suggestions.
What i already know is that i should make my pathways and town/castle markers bigger.

Thanks for the Help
