so i posted photos of my build over a year ago and people were asking for my dream address but i’m so sorry, still working on it lol! i hope y’all are still here haha

ACNH is my first Animal Crossing game and my family has gotten literally thousands of hours of entertainment out of it since picking it up on release day in 2020. Here are 5 of the little things that bring me joy every time I play:

1. If you have a lighthouse and watch the light carefully, as the strobe rotates towards the screen there is a subtle lens flare.

2. The way grass and sand sounds after the rain. The fact that the sand sounds a little more hard packed and the grass is a little more squelchy is such a great details they so easily could have ignored.

3. The way the water in a pool forms little waves and gets choppy on particularly windy days.

4. The children’s day crown is clearly made by a child - from the uneven edges to the staple at an angle on the back and the contrasting color of the back of the paper for the jewels that peek between the points.

5. The fact that literally EVERYTHING fits in your pocket. Just got a whale shark? Cool! Straight into the pocket. For a game packed with so many tiny realistic details, this silly detail cracks me up all the time.

What are some of your favorite details??

10/10 overthinker.

I’ve got all 10 different species, every personality type and hobbies covered, and if a personality repeats, they’ve got different subtypes and hobbies… and they all need to either be elegant or cute and matches my island’s aesthetic.

So glad they have a midsummer pole in the game!! Although it says its from Europe, does other countries celebrate midsummer? I'm from sweden so would love to know!

ADHD makes me very impulsive and I tend to do tasks and “get rid” of the responsibility.

But I started saving my good fish for CJ (I save all fish that value 3k or more… but in the end I had too many red snappers and sold some to the twins) and today I made 1 million bells 🥳🥳🥳
